Dr. Ed Le Cara is a distinguished clinician, educator, and speaker, serving as the co-owner and full time clinician at Body Lounge Park Cities in Dallas, TX, where he specializes in longevity and functional medicine. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, a PhD in Athletic Training, an MBA in Transglobal Education, a BS in Exercise Science, and an AS in Nursing. Currently in his final year as a Family Nurse Practitioner student, Dr. Le Cara integrates a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation. His credentials include board certifications from the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board (ACRB), the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP), and the Board of Certification in Athletic Training, alongside being a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 1994. A former Army combat medic, honorably discharged in 1999, and Captain of his Division I wrestling team, he brings discipline and leadership to his practice. Dr. Le Cara earned nine varsity letters in high school (football, wrestling, and track) and was inducted into the San Ramon Valley Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. He has served as head athletic trainer and director of sports medicine for numerous professional, collegiate, high school, and youth sports programs. He was VP of Sports Science and Human Performance at 24 Hour Fitness, a chiropractor at VA Northern California Health Care Systems, and Director of Transglobal Education at RockTape. He has contributed to educational programs for NASM, TRX, Theragun, Trigger Point Performance, and RockTape, authoring two chapters for the NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist program. As Director of Education for SmartTools Plus, he develops evidence-based content for Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Blood Flow Restriction Training. Dr. Le Cara was the lead researcher for the 2014 paper, "Morphology Versus Function," published in the arachives of physical medicine, and has spoken internationally on fitness, rehabilitation, and longevity, solidifying his reputation as a global authority in optimizing patient outcomes.
